Part of my 35+ RN nursing career was spent working with a 'dysfunctional eating center', I was able to help a lot of clients and I learned a lot.

The problem was the clients often returned. The techniques they learned to 'control' their eating worked for a while, but all too often, they would fall back into the same old eating habits and then regain the weight.

You have to pull it out to release the roots and throw it away. Then it's finally GONE!

I went through this myself - more than once! Yo-yo dieting! I tried them all. 

Multiple diets, exercise programs and regimes like Nutrisystem, Jenni Craig, Cambridge diet, Keto, vegan and on and on. 

There was  also therapy and counseling, support groups such as Overeaters Anonymous, Weight Watchers. 

I even had bariatric surgery - lost 50 lbs and gained back a 100 lbs.

I was lean and athletic until I got out of the army, married and started having babies. 
Then over the years, I ballooned up to 350 lbs.

My marriage failed,  single mom for four kids, working a full-time nursing career and my health was getting worse. 

Stressed?  lonely? afraid? feeling like a failure?        Me?!  

NEVER! I'M THAT SUPERMOM that everyone admires. (as I sit alone and stuff down another bag of chips and a gallon of milk)
